The hotel industry in prone to significant control problems. The ‘cash-nature’ of the business as well as the high value and general appeal of food, beverage and other services available through a hotel inevitably lead to theft and pilferage.

Ashler is familiar with these issues and can assess the existing procedures of a hotel and/or introduce systems designed to reduce these problems.

In addition to establishing adequate control procedures, Ashler can also undertake the accounting requirements of a hotel, including all monthly book-keeping and preparation of periodic financial statements designed to meet the specific requirements of the lender and owner. Using simplified data input procedures completed at the property. Ashler will maintain the general ledger, undertake all aspects of accounts payable and comply with government tax and other filings.
